Irish eyes were smiling as Spark + Buzz Communications participated in the City of Gaithersburg’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade in RIO/Washingtonian Center on Saturday, March 14, 2026.
Founder Courtney Malengo, along with her husband and son were decked out in every shade of green, commemorating St. Patrick’s Day as they made their way down the parade route at Grand Corner Avenue. This marked Spark + Buzz’s fourth year participating in this cherished tradition. Sparky the Leprechaun was a big hit as usual. We loved seeing the crowds enjoy the parade and interact with Sparky! Our founder is half Irish, and works hard to make St. Patrick’s Day special, both in her personal life and business. The weather cooperated and so many people came out to enjoy the parade and celebrate. We can’t wait to see you again next March.
